Turck has added new FDT/DTM based interface modules with display to the interface product portfolio. After last year’s introduction of the temperature transducer IM34 the display series is now completed with the models IM21 and IM21 Ex (rotational speed monitor), IM33EX (isolating transducer) and IM43 (limit value monitors). Appart from a two-line transflective LCD, all modules feature a ring buffer for convenient process diagnostics. A universal power supply unit and the possibility for HART communication round off the capability profile and the universal applicability of these devices. The product specific DTMs enable an efficient asset management, also for interface products.
The ring buffers of the Turck interface modules are freely parameterisable data loggers which can store up to 8000 measuring points and thus represent a very influential tool for process diagnostics. The user can determine the time frame for the writing of measuring values. A trigger event stops the storage process. Afterwards the process values can be read out via FDT/DTM.
The DTMs for the new interface modules are designed according to the lates guidelines of the FDT group and set benchmarks with respect to functionality and user friendliness. The devices can of cause be parameterised via pushbutton.
